About Me
I'm Serdar Salim. I build tools that solve problems, create content on Islamic values and living with purpose. After living in five (🇹🇷 🇦🇹 🇮🇪 🇵🇭 🇸🇬) countries, I now call Malaysia home.
I was born in Türkiye and migrated to Austria as part of the Gastarbeiter wave. I was expected to stay quiet, integrate as a low-skilled worker, and fit in. But I didn’t.
I became the first in my family to graduate university, moved to Ireland as a tech expat and built a career as a Program Manager at Twitter. I visited 50+ countries before leaving corporate life in 2023.
Now I'm married, raising a daughter and building for a different future.
A future where I don’t have to leave home to give my daughter a good life.

Led crisis management initiatives for content moderation and online safety training during critical incidents. Managed training for new hires and policy changes across 100+ support policies. Built strong cross-functional relationships with Quality Teams, Vendor Partners, Engineering and Policy Owners. Facilitated the launch of multiple vendor sites in over 10 locations worldwide.
